A Tribute From A Husband To His Wife

Ten years ago today a family member of mine, Candice Webster, got married. Matthew Webster (Candice's husband) wrote this tribute today to his wife. It is so incredibly wonderful that I just have to share it! 

This is Matthew's tribute to Candice:

10 year's ago today, I married my love. Now the last thing i want to do is write a soppy tribute, so I figured I would take the opportunity to write a little something that just may be of value to someone else about to get married, or may be facing challenges in their own. So here is a tribute to my wife:

When we set out on the marriage journey 10 year's ago, I had no idea where it would take us, but i knew that i wanted to take it with you. I learned so much about you in those days of planning a wedding, and mostly on the day of our wedding! You were by far the calmest and most collected person there (I was a bundle of nerves), and you literally created your fairy tale wedding with your own bare hands. And nothing has changed: you are still creating your fairy tale and i am in awe of how you are able to bring your grandest ideas into fruition.

So what have i learned in the past 10 years? Well firstly, marriage is tough. Like anything else of value in life, it takes alot of hard work and commitment to make it work, and even more to make it thrive! If you think the act of getting married is going to "fix" you or your relationship, you are sorely mistaken. Like signing up for a gym membership, the contract means nothing unless you are going to work your ass off to get results.

But most importantly, I have learned that marriage provides a platform for great (and real) growth. When we act in isolation only, then we often dont see our bullshit for what it is. Relationship gives us an opportunity to see our mirrors - the things we dont really want to see - in other people. And non more so than in marriage; and often times this is the very thing that causes marriages to fall apart, as we are not willing to look in the mirror and do the work needed to root out the causes of issues in our lives. And this will only continue to amplify the longer it is left unchecked. Of course some marriages just run their course, and that is ok. It is what it is.

I have also learned that a successful marriage requires great trust, loyalty, respect, sacrifice and a willingness to see something from the other person's perspective. Too often we demand these things of the other person, yet we are not willing to do the same. You need to know that you have a safe space to Be Who You Are with your partner, without judgement, so that you can grow to your fullest potential. In order for a marriage to work, it implies that 2 individuals have consciously chosen to work together to grow to greater heights than they otherwise would have. A very wise man once told me that Light is synergistic in nature. So as beings of Light, when we choose to come together our power is magnified exponentially.

So Candice, today I choose to honour you in front of our friends and family (as we did 10 years ago), and say thank you for helping me grow as I have over the past 10 years. I know that my life would be very different without you, and i would certainly not have progressed as much in terms of understanding Who I Am and what my purpose on this planet is. Most people dont know quite how strong you are nor what you have had to endure in your life, yet you discovered from a very young age that the key to healing lies within you. But you also discovered that we are perfectly divine beings embodied in the flesh, and that our potential is only limited by our thoughts about it. So thank you for being an example of how to live for me and our children, and thank you for loving me enough to truly desire that I step into my fullest potential.

I don't know what the next 10 or 20 or 50 years may bring - in fact we never know how much time we are gifted together on this planet. But i know with every fibre of my being that i wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else but you. I love you. 🙏

A Different And Unique Path

I have not been this excited about something in a long time! My new adventure that I took up with towards the end of last year is truly making me happy...oh my goodness...I just feel like smiling all day. This card talks about partnering with a person...but in my case it is my team...it is so awesome being a part of a team of like minded people. I truly feel like I belong here. With Jeunesse, yes I was part of a team. I made friends during my time with Jeunesse but in essence I don't think I ever felt truly part of the team. I am feeling like my old self again...relaxed and at peace...and excited to face each new day!

You're excited to delve into a new adventure where your creativity can flourish in an meaningful outlet. Although, you have a ways to go before something materializes, you feel in sync with this particular project. There seems to be one concern that could get in your way, and that's being prepared with the right materials and adequate resources to pull it all together, when you need them.

It's hard to believe that things will fall into place at the right time. Your role is to continue to hold the vision, which also means being open to suggestions from your guidance as they come. You'll recognize when another aspect of your vision is coming into focus. This could happen through an unexpected encounter or event. Down the line, you may receive a green light indication, as an interest in what you're cultivating suddenly increases. This may draw the attention of more clients or patrons. You could receive some offers allowing you the advantage of being able to negotiate a great deal. The resources and assistance you need may come as a gift of time and/or money. Don't let these things overwhelm you, and drown out your enthusiasm and excitement! You might not know where you're going, but take full pleasure in what you are doing and accomplishing each time you express your creativity through your talents and skills.

There's something different and unique about this path. You can feel your full commitment and connection with this project or opportunity. It's like being guided by your higher self without having to wonder is it right for you. You can see yourself in it, and the outcome that's potentially unfolding. The only thing you must be careful to avoid doing is lowering your vibration by becoming consumed by material profits and success to validate your reasoning for pursuing this opportunity.

There's nothing wrong with receiving the material comforts and support. They are the natural consequences of an experience based on your commitment and the deep pleasure you take in your approach to what you're building. You have to cherish each opportunity to work through a problem, as an advantage to unleash your creative genius. Those moments when you have to halt, and discover other options, add immensely to productivity and efficiency of your aim. There's an odd sort of balance these slopes in our journey help to maintain, that's better than a straight line to the finish. You're there to discover just as much as you're there to allow your own expression. You'll want to unearth the complete potential of your power and abilities, as they will only strengthen your confidence in your gifts. These two men stand gazing ahead. We have all heard the saying that when one door shuts, another opens. Presumably, when a second door opens, the first stays closed. What lies behind it is forever lost... but is it really? We can't turn back time. But, are we completely unable to revive missed opportunities? The thing is that nothing is truly lost. We are all granted a second chance at something we believed we had missed. Look around. Notice a sliver of light coming through a door you thought was shut forever? Whether you open that door or not is up to you.

Today's Daily Angel Card Message for Tuesday, February 6, 2018

This card slipped from the deck while shuffling. It felt light and gentle as a feather, as it fell to the floor. When I turned it over I was surprised to see Six of Earth appear for a second consecutive day. Something in your life is trying to work itself into a place of balance allowing the flow of equal exchange to take place. Perhaps, there's some area where you're not allowing this to happen. Notice where you might feel even the slightest amount of resistance to a situation that comes to mind. There could be an area lacking structure, or there's a lack of internal discipline and commitment to focus on a very important role you're being called to fulfill. It seems you're putting too much responsibility on your plate to clearly execute this situation with any sense of direction and feeling of support. You're not allowing the help you're being offered from your higher self to guide you towards this assistance. You're aware of the help, in forms of ideas and intuitive hits, you get repeatedly. Yet, for some reason, you're just having trouble trusting in the effectiveness of these solutions.

You want assurances and guarantees before you fully commit to this role and position. You're afraid to go all in, and then, find yourself left to carry the entire burden on your own, This might involve a proposal for a partnership. You have possibly had experiences where this doesn't always work in your favor, as much as it does for the other parties. There's another aspect of this situation, where you are trying to avoid taking charge. You don't want this responsibility, because you would like to benefit from the rewards of this joint venture without all the work and effort. It seems like you're looking for something that works so well, it takes care of itself practically. You want something that has its own momentum flourishing, where you can enjoy the ride. This doesn't mean you're lazy or unwilling to participate in creating its success. You just want this success to be organic and fluent.

This isn't a wild or irrational request. However, you have to trust within yourself that you truly deserve it, and believe it's a real possibility. You're holding back, because you don't trust or believe. You have had injuries and the scars to support your fears. They have made you vulnerable in ways you're not willing to risk any similar mistakes again. These previous experiences have put you on your guard. It's also possible that you don't trust yourself to maintain the balance you are seeking. Perhaps, you have trouble creating healthy boundaries for yourself, and tend to give too much of yourself without limits. This causes you to feel used and exhausted in many circumstances in which you are involved. You have to prioritize your goals and not be afraid to want something selfishly for yourself. When you're afraid to have an agenda or to pursue an ambition, you compensate by overextending yourself for others to not appear selfish or greedy. Don't allow your ego to continue to distort the path to fulfilling a purpose by polluting concepts of ambitions and personal achievements.

Guilt is a “terrific” disease, which helps manufacture profound deterioration in the vision of dreams. It pokes a hole in your sense of worth, which causes you to leak any accumulation of confidence in yourself. Your spiritual power is easily usurped by carrying the burden of guilt, which creeps into the lab where your dreams are imagined and inspired. It's like there's a back door on an unmanned corridor where you aren't conscious in your maintenance and awareness of overseeing this lab of hope and new possibilities. You can't feel guilty for wanting to be happy through success and achievements. More than likely, you're overthinking your actions and motives for the expansion and improvements you're considering. If every opportunity or idea, that could possibly free you, comes with a reason to back away, then you're giving too much power to your fears. Don't let twisted forms of morality contrue the truth of your spiritual path. Being on an enlightened path and destitution aren't synonymous.

God does not share this belief with you. We spend too much time constantly examining our actions rather than living life completely. This includes all the mistakes which will occur alongside the journey of living. The angels were showing me a vision when I tuned into the energy of the theme and meaning of this card for this reading. They showed a person who was naked and had a voluptuous figure. As this person walked an injury occurred to sever the leg just above the knee. The naked figure carrying extra body weight indicates to me exposure and someone highly sensitive, who tries to hide their emotions by stuffing them under the layers of skin. Hiding doesn't help, it exposes the very thing you're hiding, which eventually causes a breakdown of those layers for true healing to take place eventually. As a matter of fact, the legs kept breaking down, but a shift in consciousness immediately cleared the situation, as if it hadn't ever happened.

Perhaps, you are experiencing some breakthroughs, which might seem more like a breakdown. Let this happen, and also let it heal itself and your situation in the process. If you have strong connections to particular beliefs, they have to breakdown in front of you for you to see their uselessness and lack of necessity. You'll surrender and move on when it's proven to not have any basis in truth. You'll be free of the fear it convinced you was real for you to carry. In that moment, the underlying guilt can no longer weigh in on the status of your spiritual worth and keep you from obtaining your goals and achievements. Instantly, you'll unlock the flow of abundance in specific areas of your life and concern. All kinds of emotions you'll surrender to the affluence of many possibilities growing in your life. You won't shy away from them, and you'll notice more opportunities to observe their availability to you. Before, you didn't see them, because you weren't ready for them to actually happen, because you had doubts you deserved them. Doubts are the foundation of this, whether you are aware or not. They interrupt the flow of the current. Enough repetition of this interruption causes a distorted pattern, where you no longer are experiencing the ease of abundance, but the struggle. Time to let things break down, so that you can allow the universe to effect a peaceful realignment of balance and uninterrupted exchanges. The breakdown will be gentle and a gift to you, if you don't resist. Trust the process. May the Source be with you always!
